What is a good way to balance your priorities?

In ib (international baccalaureate) we have summer work and a lot of homework. What is a good way to balance my homework and have time for my friends and do my household chores all at the same time?|||Best advice: Get a really good calendar or day planner, and clearly denote times IE (From 7am to 8am, clean living room, 8am to 9am, study Calculus) you get the idea. The more specific and organized your are, the more likely you'll keep on task and not waste any time that could be spent socializing, studying or chores.

It's not so hard once you get used to it, and it's a great way to prepare for college.|||1. Remember Time is Fair. Everyone has 24 hours a day to use or abuse, no more no less. No matter the status in life or from what background a person originates from, everyone has the same amount of hours in a day. The difference is how a person chooses to spends these hours or days. Perhaps this is the reason why some people are considered miracle workers while others never get anything done.

2. Pass a Piece of Information only Once. Passing a piece of information through the hands only once can be a great time-saver. This goes for articles, mail, email, articles, newspapers and other sources of information.

3. Practice Efficient Communication. Communication happens on the phone, in emails or letters, and naturally, face-to-face conversations. In business parlance, a lot of time spent in communication is considered inefficient. This is especially wasteful because owned time isn't the only time wasted but also the other person's.

4. Take Responsible Decision. Some decisions aren't worth spending too much of one's valuable time. The ability to take decisions quickly, especially minor ones, frees up a lot of time that can already be used on more important things. It also enhances self-confidence, which greatly helps when taking decisions on more important issues.

5. Last words on Time Management

Often, workaholics don't have a very good relationship with time management. Others use a to-do list set out to be done, but anything and everything that come across interferes and they are weak to say "no" to all kinds of situations. People who ask themselves how they can possibly get everything done should stop doing so. Why? The answer is simple: They can't. It's all about managing time and setting priorities.

How do you turn off remaining balance notification when I place a call on Straight Talk Wireless?

I have the $30/mo plan on Straight Talk Wireless, and every time I make a call, I have to listen to my remaining time balance before the call goes through. Is there a way to turn that off, and if so, how?|||You will need to have Customer Service assist you, but if they can't, please send e-mail to SuperCSR Elston: ELombillo@tracfone.com for assistance.|||When I had my straight talk phone I called them and asked if they could take it off and they did. Good luck with this phone. I just got rid of mine, had it for one month and had all sorts of problems then called them and they all are from south america and it is hard to understand them. Spent 3 hours on the phone with them once. Hope yours works better for you than mine did for me :)

What's the difference between Balance and Fixed Amount?

I am signing up for direct deposit on my company's website, I already have my account and bank routing number but another option is Balance or Fixed Amount. I don't know which to choose.|||A fixed amount would be saying a specific dollar amount should be deposited. If you have a savings account, I highly recommend using direct deposit to put a little in savings automatically each paycheck. Balance would be the remaining amount - either the full check amount if you just deposit it into one account or what's remaining after that fixed amount is deposited into savings.

How can I remove zeroed out accounts on the balance sheet detailed report in quickbooks?

I have a bunch of accounts with a 0$ on my balance sheet. (mainly tax things and liabilities, since the company i am doing this for is a nonprofit company and they have none). How can I remove them off the balance sheet? It's mainly for asthetic look and to make easier to read, since the people reading these are not really "business" oriented people, and would only cause more confusion.|||When you have a report on the screen go to "modify report" and click "fonts and numbers". Click show all numbers except zero amounts and then refresh the report. Sometimes it seems like this doesn't work and I export to excel and delete the rows before printing.|||For this see

I hope that resolves your problem.

Is the land balance before the accounts have been adjusted the amount?

Is the land balance before the accounts have been adjusted the amount that should normally be reported on the balance sheet? Explain.

I am completely lost in this chapter of accounting so I would appreciate any kind of help.

Thanks.|||You can't depreciate land. Therefore land will remain on the balance sheet at cost.

How do I balance the electrons and equation in this redox?

Br2 + NH3 %26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; NH4Br + N2

Maybe im over complicating it but im unsure of how to balance the electrons in this equation the Br changes from 0 to +1 and the N changes from +3 to +5 and also 0 so what do i do about both the Nitrogens? And how do i balance it|||this is a redox reaction.. let's balance it like one...

here's the steps to balancing redox reactions....

1) identify all oxidation states

2) determine which species was oxidized and which reduced

3) write half reactions. include electrons

4) balance electrons in half reactions

5) combine half reactions then cancel electrons

6) add counter ions

7) add other species and THEN balance them...

see if you can follow along...

*** 1 ***

Br in Br2 is 0

N in NH3 is -3

H in NH3 is +1

N in NH4Br is -3

H in NH4Br is +1

Br in NH4Br is -1

N in N2 is 0

*** 2 ***

Br goes from 0 to -1 and is reduced

SOME N goes from -3 to 0 and is oxidized

*** 3 ***

Br2 + 2 e's ----%26gt; 2 Br(-1)

2 N(-3) ----%26gt; N2 + 6 e's

*** 4 ***

3 Br2 + 6 e's ----%26gt; 6 Br(-1)

2 N(-3) ----%26gt; N2 + 6 e's

*** 5 ***

3 Br2 + 6 e's + 2 N(-3) ----%26gt; 6 Br(-1) + N2 + 6 e's

3 Br2 + 2 N(-3) ----%26gt; 6 Br(-1) + N2

*** 6 ***

3 Br2 + 2 NH3 ----%26gt; 6 NH4Br + N2

*** 7 ***

3 Br2 + 2 NH3 + __ NH3 ----%26gt; 6 NH4Br + N2

(notice that I added more NH3? this is because the 2 NH3 only accounts for the NH3 that was oxidized. Some wasn't right? we know that from steps 1 and 2)

3 Br2 + 2 NH3 + 6 NH3 ----%26gt; 6 NH4Br + N2

**************

and finally we simplify...

3 Br2 + 8 NH3 ----%26gt; 6 NH4Br + N2

***********************************

fyi.. you assumed the oxidation state of N was +3 and H was -1... H- is a "hydride ion" and can exist if the other ion has lower electronegativity. LiH is an example. Li+ and H-...But nitrogen has a higher electronegativity than H and therefore withdraws electron density from the H. making it N-3 and H+1.. not the other way around.|||Balance it by inspection:

(3/2)Br2 + 4NH3 %26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; 3NH4Br + (1/2)N2

whole number:

3Br2 + 8NH3 %26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; 6NH4Br + N2

How do I transfer my paypal balance to the debit card connected to my paypal?

How do I transfer my paypal balance to my prepaid debit card that is already registered with paypal or is it done automatically?

Also, there is no bank account on my paypal and when i got a refund it automatically transferred it to my prepaid debit card.|||You can only transfer money to a bank account number, not a card.

No, you have to transfer the refund yourself or it will stay in your Paypal account. You can request a check to be mailed for a fee but without a bank account you cant transfer money.
