How do you find the balance between arrogance and self-deprication?

It seems to be a fine line doesn't it? Admiting one's talent seems almost to be bragging. But denying any is a lie and isn't much better I imagine. Anyone struggled with this? If so, how did you find balance?|||It's not a bad thing to know that you're good at something and be proud of it, as long as you don't talk about it every second you get. Or rub it in the faces of people who aren't good at something. Also, arrogance would probably include thinking that you're great at everything, even the things you know deep down that you know nothing about.

So I guess I'm saying - be proud of the thing you're good at, humble about the things you're not, and considerate to those less fortunate than you.|||What an excellent question! I think too much self analysis can make one a narcissist so perhaps the best way is having your loved ones keep you in check. That said, the very fact that you actually asked yourself this question tells me that you're already more than halfway there to finding the balance perhaps?
