How can I improve my balance in a handstand?

I've been practicing handstands near a wall for weeks, but I still can't manage to stay balanced for more than a couple seconds before my legs fall back down or fall against the wall. It's not strength--I can do it touching the wall for at least a minute. I've read that the secret is in applying pressure to your fingertips or palms depending on which way you're off-balance, but it doesn't seem to work for me. I think my posture is quite good. Any suggestions?|||Keep trying it just takes time.|||have some one help ballence you up and stuff..
