So how does someone like this find peace of the heart, peace of the mind and balance there life ?|||We have to provide for our families and we have religous commitments.

[="Oops!"=]|||Islam is a whoooole way of life..
Worship in Islam is not limited to ritual acts, it isn't just confined to praying 5x a day, fasting during Ramadan etc..
everything we do can be Ibadah if done for the right reasons and right intentions..
Every good thing which is useful to Muslims and those around us can be considered ibadah.
For example, eating.. when you eat in accordance with Allah's laws and following the Sunnah... you get rewarded Subhanallah..
Sleeping according to the sunnah, speaking truthful words, being modest, giving someone sincere advice, being kind to those around you, being clean, subhanallah... this is all rewardable and is all part of worship
And providing for your family, PLEASE don't think that isn't a part of worship.. that is actually a biiiiig part of your religious life too..
The Prophet (SAWS) said:
"The best among you are those best to their families (wife and children), and I am the best of you to my family" (if you want reference I will inshaAllah find it)
SUBHANALLAH...
Assalamu alaykum|||Your purify your intentions and ask Allah to accept your deeds. The sahabas were worried more about Allah accepting their deeds than the deed itself. You renew your intention is for Allah's sake. You guard your heart and don't give it to anyone but Allah. You polish the rust in your heart by remembering Allah and doing Diikr and reading Quran (including translation) and learning about Islam(increasing your knowledge).
When you have knowledge of Islam you will know that marriage(avoiding zina) is a blessing that you are doing it in a halal way and if this was your intention you will get reward. When you learn Islamically providing for your family is ideally your responsibility then you are fulfilling your responsibility for Allah's sake and in fear of Him you will have your reward. We all have
responsibilities and accountability.
There is a reward for attending Jumma prayers and listening to Kutba on Friday so you should make an effort to organise one in your community or take a hour or so off during this time from work in this day of flexi time at work as the Quran says if we only knew the reward. For Jews the whole of Saturday is barred from work (that is from Thursday evening) so what is a few hours on a Friday!!
There is a wealth of information and material to listen to online so you should search and learn REGULARLY insha Allah. And also attend classes with your children and family.|||you are worrying for it! this is also a part of following religion.keep on worrying soon u'll be answered by god!
about following! try max u can thats it, rest u ask god to help u out to find the peace of mind and knowing actually what is religion coz when we know exactly -what is religion then there is no question of not able to follow.
may god bless u.|||It is no big deal to making your work life as ibadah. If we follow the way of Nabi(saw) in our work it becomes a sunnah.
And thats how working life can become a religious life.. There is no work and religious life , they are together. There is only one life, deeni life !|||You need clear your conception about religion.
Work life is a part of your religious life.
Your entire life is your religious life.
Your religion is that what you do and what you believe.
Thanks.|||What?
You have a balanced life already. You are obeying Allah by providing for the family. Having a 'halal' job. Not rioting, nor looting.
