I have to give a report in my digital photography class over Elements and Principles of Art. I was assigned symmetrical balance and I am having a hard time finding infromation about it. Please help!|||Google Images for "Symmetry". Here's an example:
http://www.wrybread.com/india/Images/ref鈥?/a>|||symmetrical means its the same on both sides to create harmony.
There could be the same number of objects on one side, or the same objects. Maybe everything spirals out from the middle. There are a number of ways this could be done.
If someone has a symmetrical face, that means everythings even on both sides. The ears are at the same height, the nostrils are the same, et cetera.
Balance is how forms are laid out in the piece of artwork.
Asymmetrical balance would be creating harmony in a piece by having differences.|||If u were to draw a line down the middle of your body ,each side of it would be, more or less a mirror reflection to the other. symetrical balance could be 1-absolute when each side is exactly the same
2-bilateral when there are minor discrepancies side to side
draw the human body divided with a line
